The meeting point is Porta Perugina, the main entrance to the village of Panicale. A walk through medieval alleys leads to the story of Anita Belleschi Grifoni, the woman who transformed the ancient art of tulle embroidery into a real work opportunity for local women.

Through period testimonies, the narration follows the relationships between embroiderers, Grifoni, and European art merchants. The embroidery thread becomes the guiding thread of a story of creativity, work, and emancipation.

After the visit, independent transfer by car to Castiglione del Lago along the panoramic Trasimeno road.

A short walk leads to the Fortress of the Lion and then to Palazzo della Corgna, where the narration meets a protagonist from a completely different era: Eleonora de Mendoza, Duchess of Castiglione del Lago.
