The meeting point is in the heart of Magione, where the morning begins with a visit to the Council Chamber and the works of Futurist master Gerardo Dottori. Through the guide’s narration and selected readings dedicated to Aeropainting, the Trasimeno landscape becomes that same sky‑filled, dynamic scenery that inspired the artist from Perugia.

You then climb to the Lombardi Tower, where the view opens over the village and the hills surrounding the lake. A short walk leads to the Church of San Giovanni Battista, where Dottori’s Futurism takes on an unexpected dimension in the sacred art cycle created by the master.

History changes face upon entering the Castle of the Knights of Malta. Between the courtyard, the chapel with frescoes from Pinturicchio’s school, and the historic halls, the narration follows the traces of the Knights and their relations with the Holy See and European courts.
